IT specialist in system integration
You design and implement complex IT technology systems through integration of software components. In addition, you install and configure networked IT systems and bring IT technology systems into operation. IT specialists also use methods for project planning, execution and control and perform troubleshooting by using expert systems and diagnostic systems. In addition, they administer IT systems, present system solutions and advise and train users.
During the training, you will learn about the development of hardware and software, design larger-sized information and communication systems and learn to install multiuser systems. You will also install large computer systems and learn to offer users service and information. Finally, you will learn to handle application problems, explain new systems and answer EDP questions.
Requirements
- Very good intermediate or final school-leaving certificate (general or specialized)
- Technical interests
- Good mathematical and logical thinking
- Good knowledge of English
