I see software development as being equal parts an art and a craft. As such I believe in writing both elegant and correct software.
I feel at home in the backend, where I hold a deep interest in all the tools that help software development teams consistently write and maintain high quality software – from the greater safety guarantees provided by more advanced type systems like Kotlin’s to the implementation of testing strategies like Consumer Driven Contract Testing.
My guilty pleasure is Emacs as I enjoy both contributing to its ecosystem and using it to organize my life.
